Most of us have been or will be patients at some time in our lives. And therefore. we will be treated or expect to be treated by doctors and at healthcare centers- be it a private clinic, a primary care, secondary or tertiary care facility.
But do we know our rights as a patient in India?
Dr. Supten Sarbadhikari will elaborate upon patients rights on 07.02.2021 afternoon.

Dr. Supten Sarbadhikari did his MBBS from National Medical College, Kolkata and then completed PhD in biomedical engineering from BHU. He is an independent consultant now with a broad interests on health informatics, personal health records, elecronic medical records, coding of medical information, privacy and secrecy, patients’ rights etc. Earlier he has been associated with many educational and Governmental institutes including a position at the Ministry of Health and Family Affairs (MoHFW) as a Director. 
Shyam Chakraborty did his M. Tech. from IIT Delhi and D. Sc. from Helsinki University of Technology (at present part of Aalto University) with specialism in communication engineering. In 2000, he was awarded the Senior Academy Fellowship of the Academy of Finland, which second highest research award in Finland. He has been primarily in academics in many European universities and and industrial research for Nokia and Erricsson. He is the founder of Trinnect Ltd, an SME registered in Finland with an aim of delivering low cost and equitable healthcare in India and other developing countries with the help of technology.
